Service Description

For beneficiaries holding a Letter of Guarantee or Standby Letter of Credit (hereinafter referred to as "LG/SBLC") issued by mail by our bank, we provide authentication services.

Application Methods

1.SWIFT Authentication Request

The beneficiary may send a SWIFT authenticated message through their account holding bank to our bank for verification. SWIFT Codes for our bank are as below: BKCHRSBGXXX.

The message should include key elements of the LG/SBLC for authenticity verification, including but not limited to the business reference number, issuing institution, amount, number of pages etc.

Note: Providing sufficient information is essential for an accurate authentication result.

2.In-Person Authentication Request

The beneficiary may authorize a representative to submit an authentication request in person at our bank's office. The authorized representative must present the original LG/SBLC, a valid identification document and company’s authorization letter (if applicable).

In case of special circumstances, please contact our customer service at +381 116351000 or email service.rs@bankofchina.com. We will promptly respond regarding the feasibility and the specific procedures for processing the request.

1.For SWIFT Authentication Requests: We will respond to the inquiry via a SWIFT authenticated message within five (5) business days.

2.For In-Person Authentication Requests: The authentication result will be provided in a written letter signed by an authorized signatory. The result will be delivered to the beneficiary either in person at our bank’s office or via courier service etc.

Please note that our bank will not verify authenticity of Letters of Guarantee or Standby Letters of Credit through personal email, unsigned letters, or oral communication.
