Introduction
Inward remittance is a service provided by Bank of China for its individual customers to receive remitted money from other banks.The bank can receive remittance from different countries and accounts subject to the customers' needs.Remittance currencies include EUR, USD, GBP, HKD, RMB and so on.
Features
All individual customers who have an account with the bank can access to this service without restrictions on the remittance amount.
Target Customers
Individual customers who have an account with the bank can access to the service with valid identity documents.
Procedure
Individual customers who want to receive remittance are required to have an account with the bank. Customers can open an account with valid identity documents and salary slip of one of the latest three month or proof of income before accessing to the remittance service.
Required Documents
1. Customers of the bank: Submitting information of the receiver's name and account with no documents required;
2. Customers of other banks: Opening an account with the bank first.
Tips
1. When receiving remittance from EU countries, customers shall inform the remitter about the IBAN number of the receiving account and the SWIFTCODE (BKCHBEBB) of the bank;
2. If the remittance amount exceeds the customer's income when opening the account, certificate on the funding source of the remittance is required;
