Bank of China Mastercard Debit Card will be linked to one of your Bank of China (BOC) Transactional and At Call Accounts.

Global acceptance

Your Mastercard Debit Card can be used wherever Mastercard is accepted globally, including Mainland China. Within Australia the Mastercard Debit Card is accepted at most financial institutions, merchants and at POS terminals and ATMs where the Mastercard, Cirrus or Maestro displayed.

Contactless Transactions

You may authorise a transaction on your BOC Mastercard Debit Card by tapping your card on a contactless terminal, subject to transaction limits.

Online purchases

To authorise online transactions on your BOC Mastercard Debit Card without presenting your card either:

• provide your BOC Mastercard Debit Card details to online merchants who accept MasterCard;
• link your BOC Mastercard Debit Card to a PayPal Australia account and pay for online purchases using PayPal;
• link your BOC Mastercard Debit Card to Alipay or WeChat Pay to pay wherever Alipay or WeChat Pay are accepted:
  • using Alipay or WeChat Pay payment options; or
  • by scanning a QR code using your mobile device

• Student Card;
• Gold Card.

No withdrawals transaction fees apply for or balance enquiries from 'Bank of China' branded ATMs in Australia.
